This course was built to align with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart F and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart L and includes the following:

• Identifying common workplace fire hazards
• Demonstration of the fire triangle and basic fire principles
• Reducing the risk of fire
• Demonstration of flammable gas hazards using gases that are heavier and lighter than air
• Fire fighting equipment
• Fire extinguisher types
• Demonstration of proper fire extinguisher use by utilizing the P-A-S-S method
• How to properly assess the situation and evacuate in the event of a fire
• Demonstration of evacuation steps
