In this course, learners will be able to take the training in small segments known as microbursts with several quiz questions after each segment. This allows learners to take in the information in bite-sized pieces, increasing retention, and ensuring key points are emphasized.

Falls from heights are the #1 cause of death in construction and fall protection violations are the most common OSHA citation. In this course, we cover the basics of fall protection from assessing the hazards of working at heights, to calculating fall distance, correctly putting on fall protection equipment caring for it, and inspecting it.

Each segment includes demonstrations and discussion. The course is broken up into the following segments.

h) Fall from heights scene where an employee falls from a roof and is quickly rescued

i) Fall protection equipment care and storage

4. Know how to properly don and doff a fall protection harness
   
5. Know the difference between fall arrest and fall restraint
   
6. Be able to calculate fall distance
   
7. Understand why having a fall rescue plan is necessary
   
8. Know how to clean, inspect and store fall protection equipment
